Community Advocate
Since 2006, Simone has been a vocal advocate for justice and community-friendly development for Don Mills, Canada's first planned community.
She is the founder of Don Mills Friends, a residents' group working to raise awareness of the importance of true dialogue and partnership between developers and the communities in which they operate.
Simone currently serves as vice chair of communications for Don Mills Friends.
Campaign for Real Milk
Organic farmer Michael Schmidt of Glencolton Farms has scored a victory in his efforts to secure the right to make available natural, safe, and healthy unpasteurized milk for human consumption.
